The late Joan Gallagher, nee Keelan, was a member of the Rathfeigh Historical Society. In 2003, Joan published her memoirs in a very attractive 56-page book entitled Milestones along the journey of life, which was designed and printed by A & J Print in Dunshaughlin, County Meath, Ireland.

Although Joan never visited the Tierworker Ceidhlie House, her memoirs fit right into that theme – which is recording the memories of days gone by in rural Ireland.
